Litigation and Disputes Resolution Lawyer

We're looking for an experienced litigation lawyer to join our dynamic and experienced legal team in Townsville!

If you have at least three years post-admission experience (PAE) and a strong background in litigation and dispute resolution, we invite you to apply for the position. Estate litigation experience will be highly regarded.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Work on a variety of disputed matters including debt recovery, consumer disputes, contract and property disputes and building and construction disputes;
• Manage estate litigation, including family provision claims and contested estate disputes;
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals for practical solutions;
• Stay up to date on legal developments and mentor junior lawyers.

ABOUT YOU

• Admitted as a legal practitioner in Australia with a current practising certificate;
• Minimum three years PAE in litigation and/or dispute resolution;
• Litigation experience in estate disputes will be highly valued;
• Strong drafting and communication skills;
• Proficiency in legal practice management software and Microsoft Office suite;
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple matters; and
• Team player with integrity and empathy for clients.
