Heather Humphries

Heather is a Senior Associate at Mackey Wales Law, who practices in the firm’s estate planning team. 

Heather holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from James Cook University and has been practicing as a lawyer in Townsville since 2007.

Heather’s practice focuses on estate administration, the preparation of Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Enduring and General Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Directives and guardianship and estate litigation matters including family provision claims.  Heather has many years experience providing practical and cost effective advice in all areas of estate planning.

Heather provides her clients with professional, practical and timely advice.  She has a strong community ethos and is currently a Committee Member of the Townsville Community Legal Service, holding the position of Treasurer.  Heather is a past President of the North Queensland Law Association.

  • Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, Queensland University of Technology
  • Bachelor of Law with Honours, James Cook University
  • Legal Practitioner, Supreme Court of Queensland
  • Entered on Registrar of Practitioners of the High Court
