Kellie Hopkins

Kellie is a lawyer practicing in the firm’s commercial litigation team.

Kellie was born in Innisfail and has lived in a number of cities and towns across Australia before making Townsville her home.  She undertook her legal studies at James Cook University and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a legal practitioner in 2017. 

Kellie has been employed by Mackey Wales Law since 2015 and worked firstly as the firm’s receptionist and then as a paralegal in the firm’s succession team while completing her legal studies. 

Since being admitted to the legal profession, Kellie has practiced in the commercial litigation team, assisting clients in litigation and dispute resolution matters, including contractual and leasing disputes, employment law and estate litigation.
